Major Structural Repairs

The temple structure is in good state of preservation. It has a setback of not having proper foundation. This has been verified by putting few trail trenches. The walls of garbhagriha is not having foundation. But the walls below Hall and porch are having box bar filling. Then the few plinth carves appeared to have been buried by racing and adjusting ground by about 2'. As suggested it has been proposed to strengthen foundation by providing cement size stone masonry by under ping. The plastering over the weather proof course lost its strength. As such provisions are made under terms five for attending plastering with fresh 1:1:6 combination mortar and toned up. The door or main entrance is not filling with the temple. Similarly the door ways inside is not having any shutters. Provisions are made to provide temple type door shutters using local wood with all the fixtures and painted.

The stone flooring existing in Hall etc. are very rough does not match with the temple structure. It is proposed to dismantle and relay over a sand bed by attending 2 line dressing only for the top surface and joints sunk painted with CM.

Repairs to Shikara & Niches

As already maintained, the shikara over Garbhagriha and Parapet have beautiful stucco figures and birds and a floral design of elegant nature. But they have suffered damages and lost the strength of mortar. It is proposed to remove the decayed plaster from the surface without altering the original feature, strengthen them and apply with fresh cement plaster and finally apply fine coat of very fine lime plaster, mixed with trading ingredients. Sine the preparation of lime mortar in traditional manner is impossible. This proposal has been in consultation with the advisor.

Construction of Mantapa

As suggested in the inspection, provisions are made to construct a stone mantapa in place of sheet roof covering. Provisions are made for the said purpose.

Removal of Lime wash from loads

The entire temple walls and pillars are applied with very thick coat of lime both inside as well as outside. It is proposed to remove the lime wash only on the interior surface using the chemical. Provisions for the material labour required for its removal are made in this item. For the execution sundries charges are essential. All the miscellaneous expenses needed for work are covered as far as possible in this head
