Provision for dismantling the stone members of
the shikara with sukanasi, true and false
roof, beams, capitals, pillars etc very carefully
without causing any damage to the stone
members with the help of chain pulley block and
derrick pole after proper numbering
and documentation and stacking the stone members
upto a lead of 20 m etc. complete
Provision for laying rubble stone cushion below
the flooring not less than 15 cm in size in
two layers including watering ramming for proper
consolidation, filling sand for the voids
(joints) etc. complete.
Provision for fixing new stone beams, roof slabs
and capital of schist stone in place of
broken ones including three line dressing as per
original etc. complete.
Provision for reconstruction
of the dismantled stone members, very carefully
without causing any damage to the stone members
with the help of chain pulley block and derrick
pole using cement slurry for the fine joints including
erection and dismantling of scaffolding, curing
etc. complete. Provision for cement pointing 1:3
including grouting for the joints of the double
roof over which Epoxy Resin putty pointing upto
a depth of 1 cm to prevent leakage of rain water
including erection and dismantling of scaffolding
etc. complete. Provision for dismantling and resetting
the existing undulated flooring around the temple
or a sand bed of 5 cm thickness including dressing
the ground wherever required with outward slope
for easy flow of rainwater including recess/sunk
pointing with 1:4 cement mortar for the joints
mixed with colour oxides to match with the stone
colour curing etc. complete.
Provision for providing new flooring
with schist stone slabs from Hanamanahatty quarry
(near Ranebennur) 7-10 cm thickness, two line
dressed on sand bedding 5cm thick including sunk/recess
cement pointing 1:4 mix mixed with colour oxides
to match with the stone colour, curing etc. complete.
Provision for fixing new wooden doors of ancient
pattern with Nandi/Sal wood with 2" thick planks
on the back side with styles 4"x2" vertically
and horizontally with decorative floral designs
in the squares and styles including polishing
and fixing with revolving arrangements, brass
aldrop for locking arrangements, decorative brass
knobs with wood paint/varnish two coats over one
coat of primer etc. complete.
Chemical Preservation:
Provision for cleaning the shikhara
and wall portions of garbhagriha outside and Adisthana
of the temple to remove the lichen and moss and
micro vegetational growth by chemical treatment
including application of fungicide to the outer
walls to prevent future growth application of
final preservatives including erection and dismantling
of scaffolding etc. complete.
Environmental Work:
Provision for leveling the area
on the Eastern side and throwing away the excavated
earth upto a lead of 25 m on head load etc. complete.
[The work has to be carried out carefully as we
are likely to get some members and antiquities
in that area]. Provision for construction of dwarf
enclosure wall (compound wall) around the temple
including excavation for foundation. Laying cement
concrete 1:4:8 mix bed for foundation, construction
of random rubble masonry for foundation in cement
mortar 1:6 mix, construction of size stone masonry
in cement mortar 1:6 mix above ground level and
laying D.P.C 1:3:6 including finishing for the
exposed surface, curing etc. complete. Provision
for fixing chain link mesh of 8 gauge 5x5 cm size
welded to angle iron frame of size 25x25x5 mm
2.00x1.20m frame fixed to angle iron posts of
size 45x45x6 mm 2.20 m high @ every 2 m apart
with bottom split and bent above the dwarf compound
wall including painting with two coat of anticorrosive
paint over one coat of primer etc. complete.
Provision for transposition of
various materials from Sirsi/Bangalore and tools
& plants, implements etc from other works spots
etc. complete. [Note: Lump sum provision is made-
for estimation purpose] Provision for engaging
a site supervisor for supervision of conservation
work, keeping accounts of materials, a supervisor
for chemical preservation work [preferably a B.Sc.
chemistry] for preparation of solvents etc. traveling
expenses of site supervisor Engineers, consultant
chemist including consultancy charges, night watchman
for safety of materials at site etc. complete.

are likely to get fallen stone members and antiquities)
