₹4500 Lakhs — Restoration Investment
Every rupee contributed to the Dharmothana Trust is deployed with rigorous accountability — directed entirely towards temple restoration, artisan welfare, and cultural preservation.
A Shared Act of Devotion
Every restoration project binds three custodians together — the Government, the Trust, and the local community.
Dharmothana Trust
Contributes 40% from its own corpus and provides technical leadership and full project management, Maximum ₹15 Lakhs.
Government of Karnataka
Provides 40% funding via the State Archaeology Department and Heritage Conservation Fund, Maximum ₹15 Lakhs.
Local Community
20% contributed rest of the amount by temple trusts, and local devotee associations.
How Funding Works
The Dharmothana Trust operates under a tri-party collaborative funding structure. Responsibility is distributed across Government, Trust, and local community stakeholders.
Each project undergoes a formal appraisal before funding is released. Site surveys, structural reports, and iconographic assessments must be complete before any disbursement.
Accountability Standards
- All expenditure audited annually by a certified chartered accountant.
- Project-wise financial statements filed with the Government of Karnataka.
- Artisan wages disbursed directly — no intermediary commissions.
