  • Rajyothsava Prashasthi: The Government of Karnataka, recognizing the service of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Dharmothana Trust, conferred the "Rajyothsava Prashasthi" in the year 2021 under the guidance of Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade.
  • UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Recognition (Project-level): A temple restored by the Trust received recognition under the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation.

Government Recognition & Partnership

  • The rigorous methodology of Dharmothana Trust has earned immense respect from heritage organizations and cultural communities worldwide. Over the years, Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Dharmothana Trust has had the distinction of being recognized by the Ministry of Kannada & Culture, Government of Karnataka, through its Department of State Archaeology for the restoration of ancient monuments.
  • The Government has allotted annual Budgets for the restoration of these monuments, which have been reciprocated by Dharmothana Trust in equal proportion. Working in tandem with the Government of Karnataka, the Trust has restored over 161 temples, covering 25 Districts in Karnataka during the last 35 years . In fact, such a partnership between the Government of Karnataka and Dharmothana Trust is perhaps the first of its kind.
  • We thank the Government of Karnataka for this spontaneous, unsolicited gesture. Even more precious to us is the faith they have reposed in us, for such a great cause.
